Caroline is an excellent tutor. Her calm, friendly and structured approach ensured our son not only got the most out of his time with her, but enjoyed it as well. Caroline has a wealth of resources to draw on depending on the need of the child. The exam workshops were another success and a great offering. Having Angie helped me understand and learn how to do verbal and non-verbal reasoning as I had never done it before. It also taught me things that I hadn’t learnt at school yet that I needed for the 11+, such as ratios and proportions. It was nice to have some one-to-one time with someone to just go over the things too that I found more tricky and we often went over the homework too each week so I could see how to answer them or approach them. I got offers from three schools, Priors Field (with scholarships), King Edward’s and Seaford College, which I was very happy about.​

Caroline is also a very affable and practical tutor. These qualities enabled us to hold lessons online through lockdown without them becoming a chore for my daughter. I highly recommend her.

Caroline is amazing! She has helped prepare my daughter for the entrance exams and we couldn’t be happier with her. We have been using Angie to support our 10 year old daughter with English and Maths. Angie is a complete professional; her lessons are well planned and well structured and she is very patient and attentive . Our daughter looks forward to her lessons and loves receiving the positive and encouraging feedback.

Caroline tutored my daughter for the 11+ as she is currently at a State Primary but wanted to move to private for secondary. Caroline was brilliant at assessing my daughter and helping to suggest which schools would be suitable for her academic level. My daughter got on really well with Caroline, loved her teaching style and the results speak for themselves. She got into all the schools she tried for and in addition to guaranteeing a place at a great secondary school she has also come on leaps and bounds at her current school. Caroline’s moc exams were also a fantastic way for my daughter to meet some of the other kids doing the 11+ which also helped when she went along on the day as there were a few friendly faces and she didn’t find the actual exams so overwhelming. I would recommend Caroline in a flash!

Caroline is a fantastic tutor! My daughter absolutely loves the time she spends with her and enjoys the one to one tutoring immensely. She has attended a number of the Workshops which are absolutely excellent and they have provided invaluable experience. These workshops also quickly highlight the areas which require additional work. I am one of the pupils, who attended Caroline’s workshop just before my Guildford High School 11+ entrance exam. Caroline’s workshop helped me improve on my tests and boost my confidence when doing the exam. She gave good advice on how to answer some questions in a challenging paper. It is a workshop where pupils can communicate and collaborate with each other. I felt comfortable to ask Caroline questions, discuss any worries, doubts or advice. During the period when my exam was drawing nearer, Caroline gave me questions that the examiners may ask me in an interview so then I could practice them at home. After all those lessons, I felt ready to go to the exam and not long after, I received my results and found out that I got through! Thank you Caroline, for all your help and words of encouragement.

When our daughter met Angie, she was two years behind with the curriculum as we had just moved. She had zero confidence academically and it was impacting her school experience.Angie told me she would begin with the basics and get her up to speed. What felt like a slow process has been the best decision we took for our daughter! A few months with Angie, my daughters class teacher called me and said “what ever your doing at home is working, keep doing it” Angie helped her grasp concepts and made her confident in Maths. She plays a lot of games which keep my daughter engaged. Two years later she is excelling; she knows her times table, and I still can not believe the results. Angie began teaching her English and after a few months the teacher told us how she improved in her comprehension skills and sentence structure. My daughter looks forward to seeing Angie and loves her lessons. As soon as Angie leaves she wants to teach us the games they were playing to help her learn. Thank you Angie. Caroline has been an excellent tutor to my daughter. In just a few lessons, she’s managed to get to know her and adjust work to her abilities, pushing her gently without denting her confidence further, which was an issue before.
